Battle Rating Tips + Top BR 2hot Achievement (13 June)

Hey guys, this post is both a congratulations / achievement post to 2hot for being the Top BR player in Lords Road as well as sharing tips with everyone about achieving high Battle Rating. I have below the pictures of 2hot from 12th of June 2015 and one from yesterday to see the growth in BR in 1 day. So let’s start with each picture and sharing tips.

Goddesses, Stages and Levels:

You will notice on the picture below that all goddesses of 2hot have been invested in to some extent. The lowest level is 33 and the lowest Stage/Star is 2 Stage 4 Star on the new Victoria goddess, otherwise I think 3 Stage 1 Star was supposed to be the minimum. When you raise all goddesses your Battle Rating will go up, so if that’s what’s important for you then make sure to raise them all. Alternatively, some players choose to invest only in 1 Goddess which makes them very strong, but their Battle Rating will be lower because it costs more and more to go higher while with the same cost you can have all raised to an average or above average stage. This is a question of choice, it is not really possible to say right and wrong here.

Pets formation and skills:

Pets work in a similar way as goddesses, but then they are a bit different also. You can raise all equally or focus on one or few – that part is the same as the Goddesses I explained above regarding the Battle Rating. However, what makes pets very different is that people generally adapt their pets based on their activities (for example switching to Raycoon for Treasure Palace), so ideally one needs high skill pets of all types, but resources are limited. I tried to catch 2hot with her best pets, which is the picture below. For pets, their skill level is way more important than their pet level. This is because pet level is just about getting more stats, while the skill level influences your gains in the game (more exp, more gold, more crystals), which all ultimately ends up with you having a higher Battle Rating, so make sure to get those important skills raised with books bought with bound diamonds.

Magic Fruit

This is more of a casher area, but you can also get Magic Fruit by your activity as well as smart playing or smart spending. Watch the events to see if you can get bonus rewards for doing specific things or be fast and super active with daily events to be able to earn Magic Fruit.

Wings Battle Rating

This is of course a feature for VIP players, but how you handle this will make a direct impact on your Battle Rating. For example if you have 1000 diamonds to spend and you are exactly 1000 diamonds away from the next VIP level giving you additional benefits, should you spend your diamonds to level up your VIP or will you spend your diamonds buying something exciting on sale? No matter how rich or poor you are you always have choices on where to invest your resources and those people who make the smart choices will have a higher Battle Rating in the end.

For wings for example you get more Feathers income if you are higher VIP level, so like in my point above, spending diamonds to level up VIP is indirectly synonymous to getting bonus Feathers or getting a bonus attempt for Team Dungeon for 100 diamonds but getting a lot of Mount Jewels. You got to think smart!

Mount Battle Rating

Mount Stages/Stars and Mount Type, which both dictate the Mount Battle Rating, will highly depend upon what choices you make. If you start buying Mount Jewels from the Shop directly then there is a high chance that someone else will have a stronger mount. Weird right? This is because there are smarter ways. You have to try to get your items with as little resources as possible. One of the best ways I have found of doing this is by purchasing extra Team Dungeon attempts. This costs 100 diamonds per attempt, but you get 10+ mount jewels as well as all other rewards. This means that you are getting each jewel for 10 diamonds which is a price you will never find in the shop.

Finally, here is 2hot just 1 day later moving from 156k Battle Rating to 181k Battle rating, so a 25k BR increase in 1 day! Awesome, congratulations!

Other Battle Rating Tips

• Secret Merchant is your secret power for increasing Battle Rating. A lot of the items can be found at a much better price at the Secret Merchant and you should refresh a lot to find the best prices! For example if we look at Annie’s Pieces of which we need 100, if you buy them at 20 or 40 or 60 then this is a difference in diamonds of 2000 or 4000 or 6000 – big difference!


• Mount Blessing Jewels: Making sure you buy these every day from the Honor Shop will save you diamonds, which you can spend on something else to increase your Battle Rating.


• Discounts and Event Bonuses: Following these will give you extra items and even though sometimes you should pay to participate, you end up paying a lot less for the items than you would if you had bought them from the Shop.


• Enhance Jewels: buying more stamina might be a lot cheaper than buying Enhance Jewels even on discount, because with 50 diamonds you can buy 100 stamina, which can give you 30+ Enhance Jewels – you won’t find such a good price in the Shop!
