Hey guys, in this post I talk about Class Imbalance in Demon Invasion daily event in Lords Road among Warriors and Mages. This could, of course, be extended to other events, but I focus on Demon Invasion because I can show clearly with data that this is the case.
On the picture below you can see the Battle Achievement results table from Demon Invasion in the past hour (15th of June 2015). I wrote down the Class of each player on the Top 11 table and you can see that every single one of them is a Mage. What you cannot see is the BR Rank of each person, so you might assume that these are all Top Battle Rating players, but this is not the case. I’ll mention a few of them who are on much lower rank than Page #1 and congratulations to them for doing such an excellent job:
- #25 BR Claireborn – Ranked #3 in Demon Invasion
- #40 BR LadyHid – Ranked #6 in Demon Invasion
- #57 BR ImNewHere – Ranked #9 in Demon Invasion (especially good job! :P)
And there are only 4 Warriors in Top 20 BR or 13 Warriors in Top 50 BR and none of those made it to Top 11 of Demon Invasion. Of course someone from them could be not playing during this Invasion, but not all (I checked).
Mage / Warrior Class Imbalance Conclusion:
So based on this I think it is very clear that the game currently favors Mages, at the very minimum for Demon Invasion (but we know that’s also the case for Chaos War for example) and I hope that the devs will adapt it to make it more fair to all classes.
